Two-Day Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Lake Forest residents can safely dispose of their household hazardous waste on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24 at this free two-day event.  Proof of residency is required. 

Saturday, June 23 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sunday, June 24 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Location: El Toro High School (25255 Toledo Way)

Acceptable Items: Paint and Painting Supplies, Automotive Products, Cleaning Products, Pesticides and Herbicides, Aerosol Cans, and Universal Waste such as Electronics, Household Batteries, and Fluorescent Tubes and Bulbs. 

Items Not Accepted: Asbestos, Business and Biological Waste, Explosives/Ammunition/Road Flares/Gasoline, Radioactive Materials, High Pressure Cylinders, Medical Waste and Sharps, Trash and Bulky Items, Pharmaceuticals, and Propane and Helium Tanks.
