    An attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County will provide free legal advice to seniors through the Orange County Senior Citizens Legal Advocacy Program (SCLAP) on a wide variety of issues like government benefits, health, housing, consumer problems and elder abuse.

    Must be an Orange County resident and 60 years of age or older to qualify for an appointment.

  8. Scoping Meeting for Nakase Property Development Proposal

    On Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 6:30 PM, the Community Development Department of the City of Lake Forest will host a “Scoping Meeting” for the Nakase Project General Plan Amendment and Zone Change. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, Community Room B, at Lake Forest City Hall at 25550 Commercentre Drive. The purpose of the scoping meeting is to request input from resource agencies and the public regarding the scope and content of the Environmental Impact Report (EIR) being prepared for the project. While the scoping meeting provides a forum for gathering comments on the environmental analysis for the project, it is not a public hearing. No formal action will be taken regarding the project at the scoping meeting. The comment review period will run from July 16, 2018 to August 15, 2018, and all written comments will need to be submitted by August 15, 2018, to Marie Luna, Senior Planner, at mluna@lakeforestca.gov.
