Facility Reservations
The City of Lake Forest has two Community Rooms, and a multi purpose room. Reservations for the City of Lake Forest Community Rooms are limited to community based non-profit organizations or public agencies. To inquire about facility reservations please call (949) 461-3450.

Park Reservations
Park shelters can only be reserved for Saturdays and Sundays, at El Toro, Pittsford, and Serrano Creek Parks.
Reserving a Park (fewer than 50 people)
The City allows community members to reserve park shelters for gatherings of fewer than 50 people. There is a nominal reservation fee of $25 for this privilege. (Non-residents will be charged a $150 reservation fee.) The shelters at Pittsford, Serrano Creek, and El Toro Parks can be reserved by going on-line at www.lakeforestca.gov   In order to complete an online shelter booking, you will need a family account.  For help in creating a family account, or to obtain your PIN Number and Log-in ID, contact Community Services at 461-3450 during normal City business hours.
When booking an online reservation, please note the following items:

  • Patrons should keep in mind that a message saying a particular park shelter is not available on a requested date means the shelter has already been reserved for that day. Currently, the City allows one party reservation per weekend day.
  • Once a shelter reservation has been made, the date cannot be changed.
  • Park shelter reservations are not taken over the phone. Walk-in park shelter reservations are available with two weeks minimum notice of the desired party date. Both online and walk-in shelter reservations cannot be made more than 90 calendar days ahead of your desired party date.
  • There is no waitlist for shelter cancellations due to the fact that open spots in online bookings can be filled immediately as they become available.
  • Bounce houses and alcoholic beverages are not allowed at City parks.
  • There is no access to electricity the day of your shelter reservation.
  • No live animals other than dogs on leashes are allowed on City park grounds. We do not allow reptile shows, pony rides, or petting zoos.

Refunds
Refunds will be given for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to your event, however a $10.00 administrative fee will apply. In the case of rain, a full refund or choice of another available date within the same calendar month will be given. Refund requests due to rain must be made within one week of the original reservation.

Park Reservations (50+ attendees)
Community members wishing to host an event of more than 50 people will be required to complete the special event application process. For more information on obtaining a special event permit, please call (949) 461-3450.
