Code Enforcement staff maintains and improves the character, aesthetic quality and property values within the City by notifying property owners of maintenance or health and safety issues observed on properties. The Code Enforcement Division maintains and improves the City's neighborhoods and housing stock through the enforcement of property maintenance, zoning ordinances, building codes, health and safety codes. Through code enforcement inspections, inquiries and citizen complaints, property owners, residents and staff have significantly reduced the number of blighted properties throughout the community.
