Planning Division

The Planning Division's primary responsibilities include implementation of the City's General Plan and Zoning Ordinance, and management of developmentĀ in the City. This includes processing of land use and development applications for review by the City Council or Planning Commission. Good land use policy is critical to the City's future and ensures that Lake Forest maintains a high quality of life for residents and a viable local economy for businesses.
