Summary:  Subdivision of approximately 243 acres for future development which may include up to 930 homes, parks, roads, and other mixed use including commercial use.

Status
: The project is in the Master Tentative Tract Map and Area Plan review stage.  The Master Tentative Tract Map shows the landowner’s plan to subdivide the property for future residential development and also provides for the dedication of a 5 acre site to the City for a community-level sports park.  The Area Plan will provide a vision for future development in terms of design guidelines, landscape features, and infrastructure.  Staff expects submittal of the Master Tentative Tract Map and Area Plan during fall 2010.

The project requires environmental review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).  The environmental review process includes several opportunities for public input.  Watch this page for more information.

Following the completion of environmental review for the project, the Planning Commission will review the environmental document along with the Master Tentative Tract Map and Area Plan and will forward a recommendation to the City Council regarding the project.  The City Council will have the final review of the project.
