It's Easy to Be Green: A Community Recycling Campaign

What could be more natural than being green in Lake Forest? 

The City is launching It's Easy to Be Green: A Community Recycling Campaign to help spread awareness among both Lake Forest residents and businesses about the benefits of recycling. This 12 month campaign will feature a variety of activities and community contests to encourage community participation with recycling efforts. Keep an eye on our upcoming community contests to find out when new and exciting activities go live for a chance to win some great prizes!

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Tips Contest

Deadline: Monday, March 5, 2018

Sustainability efforts are best when shared! Tell us how you reduce, reuse, and recycle by emailing your tips to Lake Forest Recycles. Sharing tips and best practices is a great way to show your neighbors how It's Easy to be Green. Resident-submitted tips will be featured in a future edition of The Leaflet. Three winners will be randomly selected to win an environmentally friendly prize!

It's Easy to be Green - Writer Contest

Deadline: Monday, May 7, 2018

Do you have a passion for sustainability? The City of Lake Forest makes every effort to protect the environment for residents, and future generations. Share a story with us on how you reduce, reuse, and recycle and submit an article in 300 words or less by emailing Lake Forest Recycles. Article topics can be about anything you do to maintain or improve the environment. Selected articles will be published in future editions of The Leaflet and win goodies to help reduce, reuse, and recycle!
