Beginning Monday, August 19, 2019, online registrations will be charged an additional 3% credit card convenience fee per receipt.

Leashes Make Life Better for Dogs and People

The Lake Forest Municipal Code requires dogs be kept on a leash less than 6 feet long in public areas such as parks or on walks around your neighborhood.

Loving and caring for a dog can mean training it, feeding it, playing fetch with it and when it is time to go out for a walk placing it on a leash. Any time your dog is off your own property the law states it must be kept on a leash.
