Dog Obedience Classes

Behavior Problems

Dog obedience classes focus on basic obedience and solving behavior problems such as biting, jumping, barking, chewing and digging. The primary goal is to turn the unruly pet into an enjoyable, well-mannered companion and a longtime member of the family.

The City offers Dog Obedience classes for dogs at least four months old. If you are interested in signing up, refer to the Leisure Times. Do not bring your dog to the first class. Owner must provide proof of vaccinations, training color, and leash.

Owners of dogs adopted from the Orange County Animal Care Center within the previous six months of the class will receive a 25% discount on the registration fee.
